Darling Irrigation offers the revolutionary KISSS Agriculture permanent subsurface drip irrigation systems developed in Australia and patented in 13 countries.

KISSS Agriculture subsurface irrigation systems are unique in the way they deliver and water into the root zone and retain it there with an impressive range of benefits, including:

• up to 70% less water than sprinkler systems
• up to 50 % less than above ground drip irrigation
• up to 30% less than subsurface drip irrigation
• reduced weed germination on the surface
• safe efficient fertilizer application
• improved resistance to disease
• protection from vandalism

There are two key types of KISSS Agriculture subsurface irrigation; FLAT and WRAP. FLAT is designed for sites that are relatively level and WRAP is for sites with slopes and/or gradient variations. Both FLAT and WRAP feature:

• Pressure compensating drip line
• Polyester geotextile to transfer water to the soil
• Poly tape top cover to spread water into the geotextile
• Polyethylene base to inhibit gravitation loss of water

The line delivers water at about 15psi. Each emitter releases water into the geotextile. The water moves through the geotextile very quickly, transforming the line from a point source of water to a continuous source of water. This transformation is the fundamental genius of KISSS Agriculture!
