Managing Director Sam Maroulis founded Darling Irrigation with his wife Phoebe in 2004. Sam enjoys the dynamic and changing nature of the irrigation, water and pumping industry and relishes the opportunity to combine his engineering background with operating business in regional and rural Australia. Sam continues to build solid relationships with leading Australian manufacturers, and maintains a focus on key operational areas of the business.
Wolfgang has over 35 years of experience working in organisations ranging from large publicly listed entities to SME's. A manager who was the GM at Water Dynamics brings a strong background in both the commercial and finance aspects of a business. Always highly motivated to achieve results, he has worked in diverse sectors such as Irrigation, Retail, Banking, Property Development, Technology, Professional services, and Manufacturing.
As the Sales Manager for Darling Irrigation Wagga and Launceston’s businesses, Leon's extensive experience in board acre and horticulture irrigation systems, specialising in drip irrigation systems, ensures clients receive maximum value and benefits from Darling Irrigation systems. Leon completed an Applied Science Degree majoring in Environmental Science in 2003 and has been working in irrigation since 2004.
Ivan TruscottOriginally from Zimbabwe, Ivan brings more than 25 years experience in the agricultural industry to Darling Irrigation, particularly in the areas of drip, flood and lateral move irrigation. His tertiary education is in agricultural mechanisation and his passion for water saving stands him in good stead to improve water efficiency in agriculture in the Macquarie Valley.
Graham has been designing and delivering a range of successful irrigation projects for DI customers since joining the team in 2012. Recently promoted to branch manager of our Dubbo and Narromine stores; Graham brings over ten years’ industry experience to our company, along with qualifications in horticulture, irrigation, and business.
Originally from Tasmania Matthew has a background in mixed farming and has extensive experience in irrigated pasture and crops, using flood, big gun irrigators and pivots. Matthew has completed an Associate Diploma in Farm Management at Orange Agricultural College and has passion for supporting more profitable and sustainable farming systems.
